SUMMARY:Expanding Quality for Infants and Toddlers (EQIT)
DESCRIPTION:This 48-hour training provides teachers\, assistant teachers\, directors\, family child care providers\, and early interventionists with up-to-date information to enhance their work with infants and toddlers\, as well as meet regulatory requirements for training by the State of Colorado.  This training is also required for family child care home providers who would like to change their license type. \nThe EQ Curriculum is an introductory and comprehensive course in providing quality group care for infants & toddlers. This course builds on the knowledge and experiences of caregivers through interesting\, interactive and fun activities. At the heart of the EQ Course is a belief in the importance of providing responsive\, respectful\, relationship-based quality care for all infants and toddlers. \nSeries begins September 14 and goes through January 11. \nAn alternate series begins September 16 and goes through January 27.

DESCRIPTION:Fundamentos de salud mental para bebés y niños pequeños de Colorado para profesionales y compañeros de la infancia temprana \nColorado Foundations fue desarrollado para fortalecer la capacidad de la fortaleza laboral de la infancia temprana al proveer un continuo apoyo de salud mental para infantes e infancia temprana\, consistente y de alta calidad para los niños y las familias.  Los destinatarios del curso son los proveedores de Intervención Temprana y los coordinadores\,  los proveedores de cuidado y educación temprana\, los visitantes de hogares\, las enfermeras de salud pública y otros proveedores de la  infancia temprana. Colorado Foundations serán únicas en su capacidad de promover una comprensión compartida y un lenguaje común de los principios de salud mental infantil y de la infancia temprana a individuos en una amplia gama de disciplinas.  Sin embargo\, la intención no es reemplazar el conocimiento clínico avanzado y el entrenamiento con que se prepara un profesional para brindar tratamiento clínico basado en la evidencia. Además\, el contenido del currículo apoya las competencias   asociadas con la IMH aprobadas por las relaciones culturalmente sensibles  y enfocadas en la Salud Mental infantil IMH-E®\, que facilita el crecimiento del conocimiento necesario para aquellos profesionales que buscan aprobación. \nColorado Foundations pueden entregarse en una forma que satisfaga mejor las necesidades de la comunidad\, por ejemplo. Este entrenamiento también es requerido para centros de cuidado familiares en casa quienes gustarían cambiar su tipo de licencia. \nEl currículo de EQ es diseñado como un curso introductorio y detallado para proveer cuidado infantil de alta calidad. Este curso se basa en el conocimiento y la experiencia de proveedores con actividades interesantes e interactivas. Al corazón de EQ está la creencia en la importancia de proveer cuidado de alta calidad que sea sensible\, respetuoso\, y basado en relaciones sanas con todos los niños. \nTodo participante inscribiéndose en EQIT tiene que asistir la orientación programado para su curso. SUMMARY:Pyramid Plus Approach
DESCRIPTION:Saturdays (8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) & Wednesdays (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) August 28 – November 17\, 2021 \nOver the course of 18 training sessions you will learn about the Pyramid Plus Approach (PPA)\, which focuses on social-emotional competencies and inclusion in early childhood. The training curriculum is based on the framework and content of the Pyramid Model training modules and embeds many evidence-based inclusion practices for working with children with challenging behavior and other special needs. The PPA training covers the developmental continuum of young children from birth through five years of age. The training is designed for Early Childhood professionals and others working to improve the social emotional health of young children. \nIndividuals who complete the full course (all 18 sessions) of the Pyramid Plus Approach training from a Certified Trainer will be considered to have met the requirements for Early Childhood Guidance Strategies in accordance with Division of Child Care rules regulating child care centers and family home licenses. \nThis training will be delivered in English\, with Susan Kay\, MA\, Pyramid Plus Approach certified trainer. \nClick here to download and print the PPA training flyer.
