All of our training offerings are customizable to the needs of each program, educator or team that we work with.

These are some of the more common social-emotional learning programs that we provide training on.
Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline is a program of self-regulation and problem-solving skills that benefits adults as well as children. The approach enables educators to integrate social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation into everyday activities.
Pyramid Plus Colorado Modules
An 18-session training covers all levels of the Pyramid: universal, targeted and intervention strategies. This training meets requirements for Child Guidance Strategies (ECE 103) and is an approved course in the Colorado Shines PDIS.
FLIP IT
A simple, compassionate, strength-based, common-sense and effective four-step process to address children’s day-to-day challenging behavior. FLIP IT® was created by Devereaux Center for Resilient Children.
Parents and Providers Learning Together
Customized training and coaching in which parents and teachers learn and practice together.
The Most Important Tool in the Toolbox: YOU!
Can include a variety of topics like self-care, trauma-informed practice, and asking for and receiving support.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH WARM LINE
If you have concerns about the behavior of a young child in your program, call the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Warmline at 303-245-4418.
The warmline is a free service for providers, families, and community partners. Early childhood mental health experts that staff the warmline provide an initial consultation regarding concerning or challenging behavior. They can also connect you to additional support and resources.

FOR PROGRAM DIRECTORS
These training programs are designed specifically for program directors to support the social-emotional early development of children and the mental wellness of staff. Check our training calendar for the next scheduled session.
Challenging Behavior: the Director’s Role
- Support staff to build knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively to challenging behavior.
- Develop a “treasure chest” of resources and information to share with staff (we provide you with an extensive starter kit of resources).
Mental Health First Aid for Directors
Would you know what to do if a staff member was exhibiting signs of a mental health challenge, such as depression or anxiety? This course will give you an understanding of how to identify common mental health issues and how you can support the mental wellness of yourself and your team.
