Home Visitation Resource Guide

This Home Visitation Resource Guide was developed by the Southwest (SW) Denver Home Visitation Collaborative, which was established in Year 4 of the LAUNCH Together-SW Denver initiative. LAUNCH Together was designed to improve the social and emotional outcomes for young children (prenatal through age eight) and their families in Colorado. A priority for LAUNCH Together-SW Denver has been to improve social and emotional well-being for families by supporting the providers who serve them. The SW Denver Home Visitation Collaborative is an example of this approach in action!

Program Directory for Families

This Program Directory for Families is pulled from the full Home Visitation Resource guide for easy reference and is easy to print/send as its own document. Includes early intervention resources, parenting classes, nurse home visiting services, and more.

Children’s Hospital Colorado-Parenting Classes

Parenting. There is a lot to it. No one knows your kids like you do, but sometimes you need a quick tip, a new idea and maybe a little support to get past the fussing and on to the laughing, growing, learning and living. That's where the experts at Children's Hospital Colorado can help. Children's Colorado is committed to providing a full range of pediatric services, often including services not available anywhere else. Our parenting seminars are one way we are able to share our pediatric expertise with you and your family. Admission to the Parenting Seminar Series is FREE, but space is limited!

Denver Indian Family Resource Center

Denver Indian Family Resource Center was created to assist American Indian children and families in the metropolitan Denver area with child welfare issues. Our goal is to assist families to avoid involvement with the child welfare system. Where families have already encountered child abuse or neglect charges, we advocate for active efforts toward family reunification following the standards of the Indian Child Welfare Act. We provide culturally appropriate services and intensive case management using a strengths-based and empowerment-oriented approach.
