Home Visitation Resource Guide

This Home Visitation Resource Guide was developed by the Southwest (SW) Denver Home Visitation Collaborative, which was established in Year 4 of the LAUNCH Together-SW Denver initiative. LAUNCH Together was designed to improve the social and emotional outcomes for young children (prenatal through age eight) and their families in Colorado. A priority for LAUNCH Together-SW Denver has been to improve social and emotional well-being for families by supporting the providers who serve them. The SW Denver Home Visitation Collaborative is an example of this approach in action!

Program Directory for Families

This Program Directory for Families is pulled from the full Home Visitation Resource guide for easy reference and is easy to print/send as its own document. Includes early intervention resources, parenting classes, nurse home visiting services, and more.

Colorado Crisis Services[:es]Servicios de crisis de Colorado (Colorado Crisis Services)

The hardest part about getting help for a mental health, substance use, or emotional issue is knowing where to begin – especially when an issue reaches a crisis point. Colorado Crisis Services provides free, confidential, and immediate help for any mental health, substance use, or emotional concern, 24/7/365. Call 844-493-TALK (8255) to speak with a trained professional who will provide immediate support and connect you, or someone you know, to further resources. Colorado Crisis Services is also a resource for case managers and all professionals connected with the child welfare system, Division of Youth Corrections, domestic violence victim services providers, and anyone working with at-risk families. Mental health is one of the most common reasons why a child or youth involved with the child welfare system is in congregate care. A child or youth's mental health issues may be addressed at a lower level by better connecting families with the services available through Colorado Crisis Services. Help get kids the right care, at the right time, in the right place.[:es]La parte más difícil de obtener ayuda para la salud mental, el abuso de sustancias o los problemas emocionales es saber dónde iniciar; especialmente cuándo el problema llega al punto de crisis. In Colorado, the overall system of early intervention is known as Early Intervention Colorado. It is designed to ̱connect̨ a family with early intervention services, such as occupational, speech or physical therapy, to help infants and toddlers grow and develop, and to help their family in this process.
